What’s important for me when it comes to teaching?
Student's needs
Teaching isn’t about ticking boxes and covering curriculum – it’s about people. Every student brings a different story, pace, and purpose, and that’s exactly where real learning begins. I listen, adapt, and design my teaching around what truly matters to them. When students feel seen and supported, they don’t just learn – they thrive. My responsibility is to meet them where they are and help them go further than they thought possible.
Teaching is an art
Art is about transforming the familiar into something fresh and meaningful. That’s exactly how I approach teaching – by revealing new possibilities, creating connections, and building bridges from what you already know to exciting new ideas. Teaching isn’t just delivering information – it’s a creative journey that sparks discovery and growth.
Feedback Culture
Creating a safe space for open, constructive feedback that drives growth, collaboration, and self-awareness. Mistakes are the gate to neuroplasticity – let them guide us.
Learning that sticks
Because great teaching isn’t just an art – it’s also a science. I bring insights from cognitive neuroscience, psychology, neurobiology, and the science of learning and teaching into every session. Understanding how the brain works helps me design learning experiences that are smarter, more effective, and built to last. It’s about turning evidence into action – so learners don’t just remember more, they understand more, do more, and grow more.
Connection and communication
Learning isn’t just about strategies – it’s about people. That’s why connection and communication are everything to me: building trust, sparking curiosity, and creating space where learners feel seen and supported. And because no two learners – or lessons – are the same, adaptability is key. I meet students where they are, adjust, respond, and guide them forward with flexibility and care.
Global Competence & Cultural Awareness
Learners need more than grammar; they need empathy, openness, and cultural curiosity. I help students see beyond borders, respect different perspectives, and communicate with confidence in any global setting. It’s not just a skill – it’s a mindset that changes how we learn, work, and live.
What students and teachers say about me
Personalisation – Blanka has highly developed listening skills and deep awareness – she always adapts materials to a student’s needs. The best course I’ve ever participated in. I feel comfortable, and I appreciate how it’s structured. The balance of activities is perfect, and there’s always time to practice this and that.

I would definitely recommend working with you, because you:
- have great talent for explaining complicated things in a simple way.
- are always fully prepared for the classes.
- have thousands of creative ideas and many inspiring resources.
- create very comfortable (not very formal) atmosphere in the classes (even I, introvert, could openly talked to you about everything)
- are a great discussion partner; your knowledge, views, and reflections make conversations with you valuable not only from the perspective of learning English.
- are cool, friendly and smiling person who can telling a joke (in the society of sad people it is really important and such an attitude has a positive impact on motivation)

Very good preparation for each lesson.
Listening to the student’s needs.
The topics of classes are adapted to the student’s expectations.
For patience, attentiveness to the student, professional preparation for classes, adapting the topics to his needs, interesting topics of classes, individual approach to the student, small talks, and a lot of smiles and laughter during classes, understanding when tasks are not done on time, repetition and consolidation of knowledge. It’s hard to believe in your skills and progress. However, I always heard a kind word from you at the end of the lesson.

You are very engaged, well-prepared, flexible and understanding. Meetings are the least comfortable, but much less than at the beginning of the course. The content was very diverse, from finance matters to general and also regarding our interests/hobbies. The content and structure of course was flexible. I was impressed that you were always prepared for a few different scenarios, depending on our workload and our mood. Thanks to many techniques used during classes I wasn’t bored anytime. I felt challenged and motivated before the business presentation. I did my best to be well prepared and I appreciate your recognition afterwards. Undoubtedly, from the bottom of my heart I recommend working with you!

The content of the course meets my expectations. New ways of effective learning, more advanced ways of expression. This is something that I was looking for. The structure is well organized and aligned with best practices in teaching. The course is aligned with my needs, I liked the initial interview, that you are encouraged with different tips and hints, and your engagement in listening and understanding. Thank you for your patience and really good atmosphere during the course.

I am a huge fan of lessons with you. Why? I consider you the best teacher I’ve had (and there were several in the past, some talented, some unfortunately not so good). They were native speakers and Polish teachers, and all of them had their own teaching methods. I see that you are a linguist and I like it very much. To my analytical personality, this discussion of language (grammar, pronunciation, intonation, culture) is honey to my heart. I see that you are very well prepared for each lesson. Your choice of materials is wide. You are open to students’ expectations. I value you for your knowledge, commitment, culture, warmth, positive energy, and total support when doubts overwhelm me about whether I can do it.

I think you are pleasant to work with and have a lot of knowledge. You pay attention to your student’s interest to make sure the classes are interesting and students are engaged. You also make sure to adjust the course plan to the student’s goals which is very valuable.
What I gained from this course?
Slowing down and thinking how I want to say something instead of only thinking what I want to say.

I highly recommend working with you to everyone. It was pure pleasure to work with you. I’m glad that I’ve finally found a teacher who knows how to encourage students to self-develop. You’ve shown us a variety of learning techniques which are extremely effective. Recalling our lessons will be extremely beneficial for my future development. You’ve built a safe zone for us, I was not afraid to make mistakes which results in increasing my language confidence.
I’ve got lots of vivid memories from our classes. Thanks a lot for everything! Good to know that there are still teachers with vocation and passion for teaching :)
